How To Make Cold Brew Coffee

Follow these simple steps to brew the perfect cold brew coffee at home.

1

Getting Started

Grab a large mason jar, cheesecloth (optional) you can do it without it but it helps with keeping the coffee grounds from getting into the brew, and your favorite Trash Panda Coffee.

2

Combine Coffee and Water

Mix 1 cup of course ground coffee with 4 cold cups of water in the mason jar, and stir gently to ensure all grounds are saturated.

3

Steep for 12-24 Hours

Cover the container and let it steep at room temperature or in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor will be.

4

Strain the Coffee

Strain the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve, cheesecloth, or coffee filter to remove all the grounds. You may need to strain it twice for a cleaner brew.

5

Dilute and Serve

Grab yourself a glass with ice and pour in the brew. Cold brew concentrate is strong, so dilute it with water, milk, or your favorite non-dairy alternative. Start with a 1:1 ratio and adjust to taste, and enjoy!

6

Store and Enjoy

Store your cold brew concentrate in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. It's perfect for busy mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups!
